The
Personal Side of Me
I began my legal career in association with my law professors in New Orleans in
2000. I represented marine insurers and shipping companies and assisted them
with employment and immigration issues concerning the hiring of foreign
maritime workers. I started practicing law in California in 2006 and now devote
myself one hundred percent to immigration law and to helping immigrants in
their quest for a new life experience. My own immigration, and that of my wife,
provides an incomparable understanding for my work.
I live and work in the culturally rich and ethnically diverse California Bay
Area with my wife, Wendy, and my best-hound-on-the-planet dog, Pizmo. I enjoy
discovering delectable, culturally inspired foods, and because of the diversity
of where I live, choices are always spectacular. Within a fifteen minute
walking distance, I can tickle my taste buds with premium grade toro sashimi,
mouth-watering dim sum, a thick Kansas steak, a Nordic cabbage roll, creamy
goulash, a succulent kebab or delicious curry. Such opportunities are an
enriching experience for the palate and the soul.
Wendy, Pizmo and I take great pleasure in exploring the countryside in our
spare time. I also volunteer with elder care organizations and deliver food to
homebound seniors.
